MarineQuest School Program Instructor 2025
Assists and leads academic-based and recreational activities for individual and group participation during school field trips and weekend programming to the MarineQuest lab, local field sites, or at schools. Supports organization and program preparations for school programs at the MarineQuest lab.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Two years completed in STEM-based undergraduate degree program or equivalent.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Knowledge of marine sciences is a plus; Experience teaching K-12 students; Completion of bachelors degree or equivalent.
Required Certifications or Licensure: Lifeguard Certification; First Aid and CPR Certification; Ability to drive a state vehicle.
Work Hours: Variable between 7:00am - 5:00pm based on scheduled programs. Work Days: Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday. Hours Per Week: Variable under 20 hours per week, 1 position 30-40 hours per week.
