Position Highlights
UAHS BioCommunications is a multifaceted department that provides creative and media support to the University of Arizona Health Sciences colleges, centers, faculty, staff and students, as well as others. This position will coordinate the live streaming/broadcasting of events using the advanced technology incorporated into the Health Sciences Innovation building. The successful candidate will also assist in editing and archiving events and videos.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Under supervision performs routine scheduling, setup, and adjustment of sound and lighting for broadcasts of events for the University of Arizona Health Sciences and other University units.
- Under the supervisor's direction prepares and monitors podcast recordings from a central control room in the Health Sciences Innovation Building.
- Assists with client coordination throughout the process of recording/broadcasting, editing and archiving of the web-based productions.
- Performs basic video editing according to established procedures and guidance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Basic knowledge of methods and techniques used in live broadcast production of media-related projects, including experience using Tricaster Broadcast Switcher technology for live events.
- Basic knowledge and experience with Windows and Mac-based streaming technologies, file editing and archiving, using Panopto streaming, Wirecast, and Zoom recording formats.
- Basic knowledge and skill in coordinating work of media productions.
- Basic knowledge and skill in audio/video editing using Adobe Premiere and/or Final Cut Pro software.
- Ability to effectively communicate, create a schedule, consult with clients and complete billing paperwork.

High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
