The Student Medical Centre and Counselling is one of many support services available to enrolled students at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT). There are three campus’ across Auckland; City, Northcote & Manukau, each equipped with access to medical care with doctors, nurses, counsellors, a health improvement practitioner and health coach in a primary care setting.
The Opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi
We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team in the City clinic. We will have two roles available; 1 part-time (15 hours per week), and 1 full-time. This role supports the clinical team alongside a team of receptionists, a lead administrator and the manager.
About you | Ko wai koe
To be successful in this role, you will have: a warm personality with excellent communication skills; great organisational skills, ability to adapt under pressure & not afraid to think outside the box; professional, efficient with a can-do attitude; the ability to demonstrate empathy & strive to deliver quality customer services; good written & spoken English; experienced in a healthcare environment; proficient with practice management software - knowledge of MedTech32 or Evolution would be an advantage; A commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
