Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Men's Ice Hockey Ticket Operations Manager is responsible for
the planning, coordination, and execution of all ticketing
operations for the Men's Ice Hockey program. This position oversees
ticket sales, game day ticket operations, customer service,
reporting, and coordination with Athletics, Marketing, and Event
Management staff to ensure an exceptional fan experience while
maximizing ticket revenue. This position is primarily remote, with
in-person attendance required at the Adirondack Bank Center at the
Utica Memorial Auditorium beginning three hours prior to game
time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of ticket sales and distribution for Men's
Ice Hockey home events.
Maintain season ticket accounts, individual game ticket sales,
group sales, and complimentary ticket programs.
Coordinate ticket pricing, seating assignments, and ticket
inventory management.
Operate and maintain ticketing software and associated
hardware.
Serve as the primary point of contact for ticket operations
during home contests.
Troubleshoot ticket-related issues.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- One to three years of experience in ticket operations, event
management, customer service, or a related area.
Skills/Abilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to fans, alumni, sponsors,
and visiting team guests.
- Respond to ticket inquiries via phone, email, and in
person.
- Resolve patron concerns in a professional and timely
manner.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the fan
experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information
confidentially.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced event
environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- Supervise ticket office staff, student workers, and volunteers
assigned to ticket operations.
