Job Description
Clinical Directorship: This position serves as the director of the ISU Meridian Counseling Clinic (MCC). This person is directly responsible for marketing counseling services, collection of revenue generated from counseling services, and coordinating and supervising the mental health services provided (i.e., individual, group, and couples and family counseling).
This is a part-time (30 hours per week) 12-month position.
This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. Candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization may be considered
Key Responsibilities
- Market Meridian Counseling Clinic (MCC) clinical services
- Supervise doctoral students in their roles as clinical managers and supervisors
- Provide supervision to master's students when necessary
- Engage in service roles within and outside of the university
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counselor Education/Counseling
- Licensed, or license eligible, as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Idaho
- Possess Approved Supervisor status, or be eligible for this status, in the state of Idaho
- Experience in clinical supervision
- Experience in marketing
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Counselor Education/Counseling and licensed, or license eligible, as an LCPC in the state of Idaho
- Experience as a clinic director or a leadership role in a clinical setting
- Experience working with master's level practicum and internship students
- Experience generating client hours for a clinic or private practice
