Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery
The Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside is recruiting a fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon to participate in part-time or full-time inpatient and outpatient clinical practice in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The successful applicant must qualify for an academic appointment in Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate or Full professor rank and must have completed an FMIGS-accredited fellowship program in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. These positions offer excellent opportunities for teaching and pursuing a career in academic medicine with time dedicated to teaching and scholarly activity. The successful candidates will practice at UC Riverside School of Medicine affiliated hospitals in Riverside and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate must possess an M.D., or equivalent degree and be eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment. The candidate must be board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or eligible for certification if within 3 years of completing residency. The successful candidate will also be expected to show a strong commitment to education of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellows and medical students. The successful candidate will also be expected to participate in research, scholarly activities, University and public service appropriate for the academic appointments in Professor of Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical series. The applicant must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and our affiliated hospitals. Rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience.

The posted UC salary scales (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html) set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 for the salary range. The Base Salary range for this position is $127,000 - $333,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://somacademicaffairs.ucr.edu/sites/g/files/rcwecm2346/files/2021-02/2021-02-11HSCP%20Plan.pdf).
