- Develop and refine novel analytic techniques and computational approaches.
- Validate and compare new and established tools, techniques, and analytic pipelines to improve performance and reliability.
Teaching & Implementation
- Develop instructional materials for seminars, workshops, bootcamps, and courses that increase accessibility to MRI research techniques.
- Package analytic and pipeline tools for standardized implementation and QA/QC processes.
- Train research personnel in analytic skills, including programming practices, data management, and pipeline construction.
Qualifications
Required
- Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing complex datasets using statistical or computational methods.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or analysis language (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB).
- Experience with data visualization and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
Preferred
- Experience in containerization and workflow deployment within high-performance computing (HPC) environments (Singularity/Apptainer)
- Experience with multiple neuroimaging software tools (e.g. AFNI, FreeSurfer, FSL, etc.)
- Experience with database management (e.g., BIDS) and MRI data structures
- Experience working in an academic or research center setting.
Additional Information
- Application Deadline to Apply: April 12, 2026
- Hiring Pay Range: Up to $85,000 annually
