MSc Course Administrator

We are seeking to appoint a MSc Course Administrator to join our established Academic Administration to support one of our postgraduate programmes on a fixed term for 12 months, full-time basis. This post presents a great opportunity to get involved in supporting a thriving academic department to achieve its vision of a workplace where all staff and students can achieve their full potential.

Reporting to the Graduate Studies Officer, and working with an Academic Administration team of around 15, you will be responsible for the administration of one of our MSc courses. You will be the first point of contact for students, providing advice and guidance on a range of matters and work closely with Course Directors, Director of Graduate Studies and the wider faculty to provide specialist guidance and support on University regulations, policy and practice.

You will have significant administrative experience, preferably in higher education or a similar field, demonstrate the ability to understand regulations and explain them to others, and be flexible in your approach to balance the demands of the role and prioritise competing demands. Excellent communication and organizational skills, together with ability to deal with a wide variety of people at all levels are also key to being successful in this role.
