Job Summary

A ten-month position designed for a recent seminary graduate or its equivalent seeking an intensive practicum in higher education, helping to address the spiritual needs of students across all traditions at Oberlin College.

Responsibilities

The Multifaith Chaplain-in-Residence (MCR) resides on campus and is supervised by the Multifaith Chaplain and Director of Sustained Dialogue. The MCR offers 1:1 pastoral care, small group support, and chaplaincy-related programming available to all students. The MCR works closely with the Sustained Dialogue Coordinator and the Dialogue Fellow to support and expand multifaith and interfaith dialogue opportunities.

Within the ranges established for this position, salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes an excellent benefits package.
