Working at CQUniversity
In this role, you will design, develop and deliver high-quality multimedia resources, with a strong focus on video, photography and audio. You will lead end-to-end production activities from concept development and scripting through to filming, post-production and final delivery, ensuring outputs meet legislative, copyright, budget and quality requirements. Working closely with academics and stakeholders, you will provide expert advice, creative direction and innovative solutions, incorporating AI-assisted workflows and emerging technologies to enhance online learning experiences.
You will operate and oversee studio and location-based production, including cameras, lighting, sound, green screen and teleprompter setups, and provide direction to presenters both in person and remotely. The role also involves scriptwriting, storyboarding, voice-over work, training staff in self-recording practices, and contributing to continuous improvement through research into contemporary multimedia and e-learning trends.

Position Requirements
- Demonstrated advanced skills in producing high-quality multimedia content across video, audio, photography and digital graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Proven expertise in AI-assisted production management, including the use of Generative AI for synthetic media such as AI voice-overs and image generation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full multimedia production lifecycle from concept development and scripting to post-production, including the implementation of Digital Asset Management (DAM) practices and metadata tagging.
- Strong ability to innovate in content creation for diverse and inclusive audiences, with proven experience liaising, advising and negotiating with clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capability to support and upskill staff and stakeholders in self-production and remote direction, including providing guidance tools, workflows and best-practice guidance for distributed and hybrid production contexts.
- Deep understanding of universal design and accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1, with the ability to apply these to multimedia outputs.
