Multimedia Production Associate
Job Details
Position Purpose:The Multimedia Production Associate supports learning by strengthening the university’s reputation, support, and sustainability through visual content creation that enables powerful and engaging storytelling.

Essential Job Functions:
- Supports learning through the performance of essential job functions and performing other duties and functions as necessary or as assigned, including voluntary participation in university committees, activities, and events.
- Document key events across campus to use in marketing and communications content.
- Produce content for all areas of the university, including video, graphics, and photography for digital and print materials.
- Film, transcribe, and edit video productions.
- Edit photo and video assignments in a way that elevates the perception of AU.
- Maintain photo and video libraries and file archives.
- Partner with Marketing Communications staff and other departments in talent recruitment, project scheduling, conceptualization, creation, and production.
- Maintain a flexible schedule to attend and support Aurora University events, including nights and weekends.
- Travel between on- and off-campus locations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
- Please provide a link to your photography and/or videography portfolio.
- A valid driver's license and driving record which meets institutional requirements is required.
- Current and valid vehicle insurance is required.
- Some evening, weekend, and holiday hours are required, as job duties require a flexible schedule.
- High level of proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects.
- High level of proficiency in photography.
- Experience with content management systems.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera.
- Ability to use a computer terminal.
- Ability to move about campus and other locations.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
- Ability to interact via telephone, in person, and electronic media.
- Ability to travel via car and airplane.
- Expected equivalent of 40 hours per week, but days/hours may vary as needed.
