Multiple Permanent Fellow Positions in Theology
The Stephen & Laurel Brown Foundation (in Madison, Wisconsin), invites applications for two theology appointments: one to serve as a Resident Fellow in Theology with the Lumen Center, and the other to join the founding academic team as an Associate Fellow of New College Madison, a new academic initiative rooted in the Christian intellectual tradition.
The Stephen & Laurel Brown Foundation is an organization that is committed to engaging the Christian tradition for the good of the university, the church, and the wider community. Through its various initiatives, such as Upper House, the Lumen Center, and New College Madison, the Foundation invests in programs that cultivate a deeper understanding of Christianity—especially within the context of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Our team is guided by a Christ-centered vision of flourishing, a commitment to excellence, and a workplace culture that encourages creativity and collaboration.
For these two positions, we ask that applicants specify which appointment they are applying for in the subject line of their email (e.g., “Lumen Center”). Applicants wishing to apply for both positions should list both in the subject line (e.g., “Lumen Center and New College”). In such cases, please indicate in your cover letter which position is most closely aligned with your background and interests.
