Duties/Responsibilities: Work with SREL Educators to develop pollinator programs and gardens at local schools. (Percentage of time: 70)

Duties/Responsibilities: Attending outreach events to deliver pollinator programs and resources to schools, STEM functions, summer programs and special events such as Earth Day, Arbor Day … etc. (Percentage of time: 30)

Position Summary: A position is available to work (approx. 19 hours per week) at the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory (SREL) in the area of native pollinator attraction, cultivation and conservation. The educator will develop hands-on pollinator gardens at local schools, serve as point of contact and resource person for pollinator program at schools, and teach the pollinator curriculum. In addition, the educator will have interpretive and instructional opportunities (including tours) at the SREL Conference Center, local schools, special events and summer educational programs.
