Non-Credit Instructor-Guest Chef
Job Details
The Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning (WDLL) Department of Middlesex College invites applications for a part-time, non-credit Chef to support the following culinary instruction program:
- Guest Chef
The successful candidate must have a thorough knowledge of savory and/or baking and pastry production, as well as the skills needed to produce successful dishes. Guest Chef must be able to instruct participants through demonstrations of recipes or the hands-on productions of recipes.
Important:
Please note that a non-credit Guest Chef is not an adjunct position.
Successful candidates teach courses in the WDLL Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience as a chef
- ServSafe® certification
- Excellent knife skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Organizational Skills
- Great Interpersonal Skills

WDLL is current seeking Guest Chef to assist in-person either during the day or the evening at the Edison campus. Please be aware that this is a pooled position for instructors. Completed applications will enable hiring officials to contact you when a hiring need arises.
