Develop and deliver course materials aligned with program
learning objectives and industry standards.
Incorporate applied, experiential learning techniques to
enhance student engagement.
Maintain regular office hours. Provide timely feedback and
academic support to students.
Participate in curriculum development and continuous program
improvement initiatives.
Stay current with developments in financial planning practice,
regulation, and education.
Engage in service activities that support the department,
college, and university as appropriate for a teaching-focused
appointment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a financial advisor or in a closely related
role.
- Professional certification in financial planning.
- Prior teaching experience at the college or university level in
financial planning or related topics.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and commitment to
student-centered learning.
Assistant or Associate non-tenure track Teaching Professors for
this position are expected to hold a terminal degree or its
professional equivalent. The teaching positions are 10-month or
12-month, depending upon responsibilities, full-time, non-tenure
track appointments. Successful candidates will teach 24 credits
over two semesters, with an option to teach overload and summer
classes for additional compensation. Positions are renewable based
on performance reviews and programmatic needs.

SALARY
In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act,
the annual base salary range for this position is:
Assistant Teaching Professor: Ranges 21-24
Associate Teaching Professor: Ranges 25-27
with placement within the range determined by candidate's
qualifications, professional experience, internal equity, and other
