Nontenure Faculty Pool - School of Family & Consumer Sciences
Position Description
The School of Family & Consumer Sciences seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach courses in Consumer Affairs, Family & Consumer Sciences, Fashion Merchandising, Human Development and Family Sciences, Interior Design, and Nutrition.
Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis.
This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 semesters.
Required Qualifications
- Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
