The purpose of this position is to educate medical students, graduate students and undergraduate students.

The target salary offer for this position is $5,000.00 monthly at full time. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.

Examples of Duties: Teaching: Fall graduate and undergraduate, tutoring medical students; Spring graduate and undergraduate PHSL 410A/MBBS 511A, tutoring medical students. Service: Department - Undergraduate Committee; University - Assist with university recruitment initiative.

Supplemental Information: SIU School of Medicine (SOM) has its chief administrative unit and main campus in Springfield, IL, but has facilities and programs at multiple sites throughout central and southern Illinois. The SOM Carbondale campus is home to the Department of Biomedical Sciences, which houses the divisions of Anatomy and Neurobiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Molecular and Integrative Physiology.
