Your Role on the Team
Position Summary:
Under general direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, the nuclear medicine technologist is directly responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient nuclear medicine department using radioactive isotopes for enhanced diagnostic imaging. He/she is responsible for performing all nuclear medicine procedures.
What It Takes to be Successful
Required Qualifications:
- Current and Active NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) Licensure for Nuclear Medicine
- Registered and licensed by the State of California
- CPR Certification
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years progressively more responsible experience under nuclear related program/job. Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
