Nursing Instructor - Adjunct
Opportunities to teach within the Health Sciences and Family Studies Division at GRC. Teaching options may include, Fundamentals of Caregiving (FOC), Nurse Assistant (prep for CAN), Community Lab or PN courses.
ABOUT THE COLLEGE:
Green River College's student body is made up of approximately 41% Academic Transfer students, 34% Professional-Technical students, 15% Adult Basic Education student, and 3% Applied Bachelor degrees. Green River College has four campuses, including the main campus in Auburn, Washington, with satellite campuses in Kent, downtown Auburn, and Enumclaw. Green River programs serve high school graduates, Running Start students (dual enrollment in local high schools and the college), those seeking retraining for the workforce, international students, students learning English, and Continuing Education students. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree in Nursing required for ALL Practical Nursing and ADN courses)
- Three years recent acute or long term nursing care experience for Practical and ADN Nursing faculty; one year long term/chronic illness care for Nursing Assistant faculty
- Eligible for or have unencumbered a Washington state RN/PN license; must be obtained as a condition of employment
