Abell-Hanger Endowed Professor in Geriatric Nursing

Position Details

The Harris College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Texas Christian University seeks candidates for a 9-month tenure-track position in nursing as the Abell-Hanger Endowed Professorship in Geriatric Nursing. Minimum requirements include an earned PhD in nursing or related field, demonstrated effective teaching in higher education for at least three years, and an established record of funded research and scholarly work. Candidates must also meet the criteria for appointment as an Associate or Full Professor.

Applicants for this position will have designated resources to support their research program and travel. Educational preparation, research, and clinical expertise in geriatric adult medical-surgical nursing are preferred. The position(s) is on-campus and in-person. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain a current, valid, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
