Job Description
Budget Title: Instructional Support Associate (SL-2)
Salary: $51,500 (full-time, temporary)
The Resource Center Program Data Specialist position is housed at Binghamton University as part of the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Technical Assistance Resource Center for the Rest of State (non-NYC) region of NYS. The purpose of the Resource Center is to provide ongoing support to all 21st CCLC subgrantees to improve the quality of their programs and, in turn, improve the academic, social and emotional outcomes of the students and the literacy of their families. The Resource Center Data Specialist will be supervised by the Resource Center Director.
The Data Specialist will assist the Director in implementing the program deliverables. This position requires understanding and experience working with large sets of data from various sources.
- Supporting data reporting in EZReports and federal APR, including supporting subgrantees in completing their data.
- Monitoring data and ensuring compliance from subgrantees using the State-contracted data collection and reporting system, EZReports.
- Reviewing data for accuracy before submitting reports.
- Providing the Resource Center Director with necessary data to submit quarterly and annual reports.
- Participating in monthly meetings/calls with NYSED and NYC Resource Center as needed.
- Participating in quarterly meetings/calls with state evaluator.
- Understanding and supporting annual work plans, data requirements, and attainment of deliverables outlined in the plans.
- Monitoring implementation progress and assessing needs of programs statewide.
- Supporting subgrantees around use of the QSA tool.
- Supporting team with needs assessment for professional development.
- Documenting delivery and attendance of professional development.
- Documenting attendance and delivery of four events each year designed to provide training and networking opportunities across subgrantee sites.
- Representing 21st Center Technical Assistance Resource Center as needed at meetings/events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher)
- A minimum of three (3) years' programmatic and/or administrative experience in expanded learning opportunities programming during the past ten years
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working with large scale software applications
Preferred:
- Supervisory experience
- Project management experience
