"NYU Abu Dhabi course proposal form for NYU Faculty: Academic Year 2026-2027"

NYU Abu Dhabi invites NYU faculty based in New York and Shanghai to express interest in offering courses to teach at NYUAD, aligning with the curricular needs of our academic divisions: Arts & Humanities, Engineering, Science, and Social Science. Applicants are encouraged to review our current course offerings and the Core Curriculum program. Previous teaching experience at NYUAD is not a requirement.

Specific areas of interest include Interactive Media and Art and Art History (Photography). Located in Abu Dhabi, NYUAD fosters a dynamic intellectual environment. Teaching appointments are for one full academic year (minimum three courses), one semester (two courses), 7-week appointment (one course), or Summer Term 2027.

Successful applicants will engage in faculty responsibilities, including meetings, research, mentoring, and partnerships. Opportunities for research funding and public programs are available. Applicants must hold a full-time faculty position at NYU New York or NYU Shanghai.

Required documents: biographical statement, CV, letter of interest, and four course proposals. Submission deadline is February 6, 2026 (Arts and Science faculty by October 15, 2025).
