Job Summary:
The CU College of Nursing is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Systems Support Specialist for the Office of Academic Programs (OAP). This position will support data entry processes for the Office of Academic Programs' software systems, including InPlace and TAMs. The OAP Systems Support Specialist will also serve as a Super User, for these software systems, providing support and training to faculty, students, and other staff members within the College of Nursing. The ideal candidate will be technically minded, detail-oriented, and enjoy problem-solving. The successful candidate will be a team player focused on supporting the needs of the Office of Academic Programs, with the ability to balance a variety of tasks and prioritize goals while meeting deadlines. They will work collaboratively with the CU Nursing Information Technology Team, as well as faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- (40%) Ensures accurate and timely input of data into InPlace (Office of Academic Programs software system)
- Serves as OAP Super User
- Completes student program plan audits every semester. Cross references data to ensure accuracy and completeness; recognizes problems in source documents and calls to the attention supervisor and/or appropriate leader.
- Completes program plan changes and updates
- Creates course builds
- Completes Graduate Clinical Instructor Evaluations
- (30%) Ensures accurate and timely input of data into the Teaching Assignment Management System (TAMS; Office of Academic Programs software system)
- Serves as OAP Super User
- Updates workload changes
- Completes yearly course builds
- Extracts information according to specified criteria and generates reports as requested.
- (20%) Utilizes Course Eval software to produce Experiential Learning Team reports, such as:
- Simulation evaluations
- Undergraduate clinical site and instructor evaluations
- Gathers and organizes course, student and faculty metrics including enrollment, student headcount and credit hours, admissions, completion rate, student demographics, and other information to help guide business decisions within the Office of Academic Programs.
- (10%) Communication and education
- Updates and creates new intranet content for OAP, such as user materials and training videos for OAP systems.
- Provides faculty education, user materials, and training videos on TAMS systems
- Creates weekly updated SIS and TAMS spreadsheets to ensure accuracy in teaching plans and courses offered
- Communicates with the Finance Team to ensure accurate administrative workload details
Work Location: Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of three (3) days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Entry Professional: A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Intermediate Professional: A bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. One (1) year of experience with performing data entry, complex scheduling, and/or similar functions on a daily basis.
Substitution(s): A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. A master's degree business, business administration, finance, accounting, education, social sciences, healthcare administration, public administration, communications, information systems, computer science, management/computer information systems, computer engineering, information technology, or a directly related field from an accredited institution may substitute for an unrelated bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications (All Levels):
- Experience with InPlace, TAMS, and/or similar software in an educational setting.
- Experienced in training colleagues on processes and systems.
- Experience providing basic desktop support.
- Experience handling complex, time-sensitive customer needs with a high level of service and professionalism.

Anticipated Pay Range:
- Entry Professional: $50,224 to $58,762
- Intermediate Professional: $54,656 to $63,947
