Job Summary
Arapahoe Community College is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Open Educational Resources (OER) Coordinator to support the administration of the Colorado OER Grant. This part-time, exempt role plays a key part in promoting equitable access to learning materials by tracking OER usage, analyzing student cost savings, and assisting with required grant reporting. The OER Coordinator will also work directly with faculty to support OER adoption and accessibility, contribute to professional development efforts, and participate in the college's OER committee.
This is a grant funded position until June 30th, 2027. Continuation of the position is contingent upon continued funding.
The ideal candidate brings strong data tracking skills, experience with OER or open-access materials, knowledge of accessibility standards, and excellent communication abilities. This position offers the opportunity to support ACC's mission of expanding affordable, high-quality educational resources for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, track, analyze, and report data on OER usage and student cost savings.
- Prepare accurate, timely grant reports and assist in ongoing OER assessment efforts.
- Support faculty in adopting, revising, and remediating OER materials to meet accessibility standards.
- Build relationships with faculty to identify professional development needs related to OER.
- Serve on the OER Committee and contribute to collegewide OER goals and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Data tracking, analysis and reporting experience
- Experience adopting, remixing, and/or teaching with OER
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for documents, and experience remediating material to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act
- Ability to plan and facilitate workshops
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
