Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Office of Interprofessional Education and Practice (OIPEP) serves as a liaison between the participating OIPEP Schools, University partners, and agencies and professional organizations at the state and national level. The goal of OIPEP is to oversee the creation, implementation, and dissemination of interprofessional education, research, and clinical experiences designed to enhance collaborative learning across the UNC system.
Position Summary
This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. The Office Manager and Program Coordinator is a direct report to Deputy Director of Interprofessional Health Initiatives and serves in an administrative and program support role for OIPEP and OHPA. This position is the lead for administrative processes and ensures OIPEP and OHPA’s day-to-day business continuity by providing comprehensive project/program management to faculty, staff, and students. This includes event planning and execution, communications, as well as financial and human resources assistance.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Management Preferences
- Knowledge of University financial systems.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (such as Canvas).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Strong organizational project management skills.
- Knowledge or experience with interprofessional education.
