Salary: $39,992.--$50,000.

Status: Full-Time

Job Summary:

This position provides diversified administrative and secretarial support for the Office of Health Wellness and the Office of Mental and Emotional Wellbeing. Responsibilities include providing administrative support in the clinical area and coordination of daily office activities; communication of department policies, practices and procedures; serving as receptionist to campus community members and others; transacting business with the Office of Health Wellness and the Office of Mental and Emotional Wellbeing; coordinating referrals to external service providers; and providing task supervision for student workers.

Required Qualifications:

  1. High school degree or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  2. A minimum of 2-3 years related experience required in a clinic/physician’s office setting, including clinical experience and/or “front office” experience, preferred.
  3. Strong administrative and operations management skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
  5. Willing and able to work non-standard hours as required, including evenings and weekends.
  6. Personal computer literacy for word processing, spreadsheet, and data management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred. Experience with Ellucian Colleague a plus.
  7. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with students, staff, faculty, and external constituents.
  8. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
