Basic Function

The Fine and Applied Arts Department at Porterville College is seeking a faculty member for a one-year temporary Full-time Art Instructor for the Porterville College location.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's in fine arts, art, or art history OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in Humanities OR The equivalent.

A demonstrated sensitivity to students with diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and students with disabilities.

Representative Duties

Provide leadership, engagement, and discipline expertise to continue advancing the program in innovative ways. Demonstrate a commitment to student success through teaching and learning excellence.
