Essential Job Duties: We're excited to welcome new colleagues to our team for the 2025-2026 academic year! Candidates will be hired as a non-tenure track Lecturer or Teaching Assistant Professor based on credentials/qualifications. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for the coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. Faculty will prepare their own syllabi for the class(es) they teach. Faculty hired as Teaching Assistant Professors will have additional realms of responsibilities as mutually agreed upon with the Department Head relating to service and activities within the college. The appointment may be available on a per course basis, short-term, and part-time for the 2025-2026 academic year, all with the possibility of renewal.
Other Work/Responsibilities: Faculty perform other duties as directed by the Department Head.
Minimum Experience/Education: Lecturer: Requires master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience. Asst. Teaching Professor: Requires doctoral degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.
Required Qualifications: Strong commitment to excellence in teaching
Preferred Qualifications: PhD or ABD in History or related field.
