Position Summary/Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to work in the inpatient setting at UNC Women's Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC, covering Labor and Delivery, gynecologic consults, and gynecologic emergencies. Work duties will include twelve to fourteen 12-hour shifts per month (including nights, weekends and holidays). The person in this position will also teach medical students, OB-GYN residents and fellows in sub-specialty training. This person will join a multidisciplinary team including 3 other hospitalist ob/gyns as well as 5 inpatient-only CNMs. Our Labor and Delivery Unit is always staffed by two attending physicians from a pool of hospitalists, generalists, and MFMs.
