University College is one of nine colleges at UT San Antonio and one of the only colleges that interacts with almost every new student as they start their journey at UTSA. The college is home to Academic Introduction and Strategies (AIS), Multidisciplinary Studies, The Writing Program, Dual Credit, and Army and Air Force ROTC.

Academic Introduction and Strategies Program
The Academic Introduction and Strategies Program in University College at UT San Antonio offers introductory, core curriculum courses to support students as they transition to the university experience. Twenty fixed-term faculty members teach courses in different pathways to help student explore majors and careers while providing pathways to academic success at UT San Antonio.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will be able to teach courses to support first year students majoring in AI, cyber, technology, data science, math, or engineering, focusing particularly on skills students will need to be successful in these majors.
Salary Starting at $45,050 annualized, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will possess a degree in technology, cyber, math, data science, engineering or a related field. An M.A. is required. Ph.D. preferred.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio (UTSA Legacy) and its infrastructure.
