Job Summary:

The Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine has an opening for a full time faculty at the rank of Senior Instructor or above for a generalist providing clinical care in both obstetrics and gynecology, including inpatient and outpatient service and surgery as a member of the University OB Practice. Position includes primarily clinical duties, but we also actively participate in teaching medical students and residents.

Work Location: Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below:

Senior Instructor

• Board-eligible OBGYN, Colorado Medical License
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Meets criteria for Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Assistant Professor

• Board-certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical License
• 2-4 years of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Meets criteria for Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Associate Professor

• Board-certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical License
• 5-7 years of clinical OBGYN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Meets criteria for Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Professor

• Board-certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical license
• Ten (10) years of clinical OBGYN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• 5-7 years of leadership experience in clinical operations
• Experience as a clinical educator
• Meets criteria for Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Preferred Qualifications

Senior Instructor

• One (1) year of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency
• Experience as a clinical educator

Assistant Professor

• Completion of an OBGYN Hospitalist fellowship
• Experience as a clinical educator

Associate Professor

• Completion of an OBGYN Hospitalist fellowship
• Experience as a clinical educator

Professor

• Fifteen (15) years of experience in an academic medical center

Anticipated Pay Range:

HIRING RANGE:

Senior Instructor: $131,220-$243,000

Assistant Professor: $135,000-$250,000

Associate Professor: $152,820-$283,000

Professor: $176,040-$326,000
