About the role
Applications are invited for a full-time Operations Administrator position to work alongside colleagues to provide professional services to the Department.
This post is available from 15th June 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Interviews are to be held on Wednesday 27th May 2026.
It may also be necessary to hold some interviews on Thursday 28th May 2026.
About you
A successful candidate will be educated to A level standard, or equivalent, or will have acquired equivalent vocational/commercial knowledge and experience of working in this area. They will have experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment, and knowledge of financial processes and regulations associated with general financial administration. They will also have proven experience of providing effective financial support (including the experience of online financial systems), experience of providing financial reporting, and a proven ability of overseeing event management.
An outstanding candidate will have experience of working in a HEI, or similarly complex organisation. They will also have experience of servicing meetings (including planning, liaising with chair to create an agenda, and taking and producing minutes), and experience in using records management systems within an institution
