Paralegal Program Director
Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) administers the Paralegal Program for Strategic Programs through Academic Affairs at Oakland University. PACE provides administrative, clerical and operational support for the educational courses in the Paralegal Program. The Paralegal Program prepares students to become Paralegals. Recognizing the need for additional expertise and assistance in the conduct of the Paralegal Program, PACE seeks to retain the services of a Paralegal Program Director to work with the PACE Executive Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal, Business, Education, Political Science, or Liberal Arts or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in program management, budgeting, management and compliance and in a legal field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Desired Qualifications:
- Holds or has held a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited program or has a JD.
- 2-3 years development experience in higher education.
- 1-2 years student recruitment experience.
- Teaching experience in a higher education environment.
- Experience with higher learning registration.
- Experience with teaching online.
