Part-time Adjunct Instructor - Health Studies
SUNY Broome Community College is seeking candidates for a part-time adjunct instructor to teach in the Health Studies department for a variety of courses.
Courses that may be needed: Clinical patient care including but not limited to patient vitals, urinalysis, phlebotomy, EKG's, patient histories, and health related courses.
Applications for Adjunct Instructor positions are accepted on a continuous basis. Candidates are contacted and hired as opportunities arise, depending on the college's needs.
- A Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Preference given for relevant clinical patient care work experience.
- Prior teaching, especially in a community college environment, is preferred.
- Applicants should be comfortable in an online learning environment and/or willingness to learn to deliver material in this modality.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background Check.
