We are seeking a proactive, and organised part-time Administrator to join our team supporting Early Learning in Medicine. This role plays a vital part in supporting both convenors/tutors and students in the Early Professional Experience module of year 2. You will deal with members of the public when arranging for them to come into the Hunter Centre to be interviewed by students. It also involves working closely with supporting the rest of the ELM team.
You will provide a wide range of administrative support. This is a dynamic opportunity to join a team proud of their mahi, contributing to the future of healthcare in Aotearoa through meaningful work and supporting staff and students.

You are a motivated and self-directed professional with proven experience as a high-performing Administrator, dedicated to supporting students and staff. With exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload, you will play a vital role in fostering collaboration and driving operational excellence within a high-stakes research and healthcare context. Key skills for success in this role include:
- Previous experience in a busy and/or complex administrative environment
- Naturally able to build strong relationships and providing outstanding customer service.
- Adaptable and solutions focused, committed to continuous improvement.

Divisional Services and Administration is a team of highly skilled professionals responsible for delivering outstanding student and staff experiences through high quality, operational management, and administrative support services. We are a strong supportive whakawhanaukataka, proud of the work we do as the largest workforce in the university, spanning every corner of the motu.

This is a permanent, part-time role (30 hours) based in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.
The appointment range for this role at Level 4 is $63,508 to $68,185. Top of Range $73,640.
We are also seeking candidates for Kaiwhakahaere Tari positions, which support the implementation of our Māori Strategic Framework. If you are interested in these positions, there will be an opportunity to tell us how you could contribute to a culture of whakawhanaukataka in our workplace through the application process. The appointment range for this role is $69,931 to $74,609.
