Part-Time and Limited Term Faculty Positions in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology
Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology for the academic year 2025 - 2026. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses, including lectures and/or laboratories as needed, in introductory biology (introductory cell biology section), genetics, cell biology, microbiology, and/or other courses with cell and molecular-related content.
- Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Microbiology or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
- OR
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- College-level teaching experience
- Experience teaching online
- Evidence of a focus on student success.
