Job Summary
School of Science invites applications for various Part-Time Faculty positions for the 2025-2026 Academic Year. Instructor for Immunhematology (Blood Banking) Lecture and lab needed at our Poughkeepsie Campus, and Lecture only at our Manhattan site, for Spring 2026 and beyond. Opportunities to teach multiple/additional courses may become available. The successful candidate will join a school characterized by a strong sense of community in which students are the central focus and faculty who are both accessible and approachable.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include an Certification in Medical Laboratory Science and strong bench experience in the Blood Bank lab, M.A. or M.S. in a closely related field, strong interest in undergraduate education, a commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching, and interest in working collaboratively with others. Those with a B.S. in Medical Lab Science will be considered for teaching the Laboratory only. Morning lectures and Afternoon labs
Essential Functions
Opportunities are available to teach in one or more areas across several disciplines over time. Teaching opportunities include undergraduate courses that may be available in both on-ground and online environments. Availability to teach during daytime hours is desired.
