Part-time Faculty, Physical Therapy - Pediatrics
Teach the Pediatrics course to the second-year entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy students. Responsibilities include coordinating, teaching, and assessing student performance in the Pediatrics Class. Contributing to department curriculum meetings regarding the content area. This is a 3-credit hour course that meets once a week for 3 hours each time. The class schedule is negotiable.
Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments and university officials via university provided tools and resources.
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: Physical therapy license with eligibility for Ohio licensure.
Minimum Qualifications: At least a DPT or master's degree prepared clinician with clinical specialization or an academic terminal degree (Ph.D., EdD, DSc). At least three years of clinical experience in pediatrics. Physical therapy license with eligibility for Ohio licensure. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications: Academic teaching experience.
