Part Time Instructor - Ed.S. School Psychology Graduate Program
Nevada State University actively maintains an open pool of qualified individuals to be selected on an as-needed basis by the department to fulfill part-time temporary instructional needs and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Nevada State invites applications for an open pool of adjunct faculty for in-person, online or hybrid courses in School Psychology for the Ed.S. School Psychology graduate program.
Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
Adjunct faculty members are compensated at the rate of $1,000 per credit hour. Each of the Ed.S. courses are 3 credit hour courses.

Required Qualifications:
- Ed.S. or Master's Degree in School Psychology.
- Minimum of three (3) years full-time experience working with children in PK-12 as a credentialed school psychologist.
- Evidence of a strong commitment to teaching/leadership, educational excellence, and mentoring.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and technology skills.
- Commitment to active learning and teaching strategies.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate in school psychology or related area (special education, educational leadership, etc.).
- Previous teaching experience in higher education.
- Previous experience supervising a school psychology practicum student or intern.
- Experience in web-based coursework.
- Credentialed as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist through NASP.
