Part Time Instructor Pool Management, Marketing & International Business

Job Summary: Department: Management, Marketing & International Business. FTE: <67%. Work hours: Varies based on assignment. Starting Salary Range: Class II, step 1 of Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule. Anticipated Start Date: Fall 2025.

Job Description: Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform tasks supporting the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Responsibilities include classroom assignments, student evaluation, curriculum development, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's in business, business management, business administration, accountancy, finance, marketing, or business education OR
• Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in economics, personnel management, public administration, or JD or LL.B. degree OR
• Bachelor's in economics with a business emphasis AND Master's in personnel management, public administration, or JD or LL.B. degree OR
• The equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications: Teach courses in hospitality law, business, and management; teach lecture and laboratory sections; evaluate and advise students; develop curricula; maintain department standards; recruit and participate in student retention; serve on committees; perform other duties as assigned. Requires 18 graduate semester hours in Business Law, experience with applied learning methodologies, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment, flexible schedule, and certification to teach online.

Working Conditions: Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subjects taught.
