Part - Time Instructor, Water/Wastewater Treatment - FY 2026
Job Description
Applications will be considered on an as-needed basis determined by course availability.
Responsibilities of a Part Time Water/Wastewater Treatment Instructor include but are not limited to:
- Lecture and Lab instruction for Water/Wastewater Treatment courses
- Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
- Provide advisement to students
- Develop syllabi and course materials
- Some program and or curriculum development may be requested
- Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
Required Qualifications:
- 5 Years of Water/Wastewater Treatment experience, OR
- Applied Science degree in Water/Wastewater Treatment from an accredited College/ University or equivalent degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College/ University in Wastewater Treatment or equivalent
- Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce
- Knowledge of computer classroom technologies
- Knowledge of Canvas or other Learning Management Systems
Schedule
Water/Wastewater Treatment courses are generally taught at the Henderson Campus, in-person/ online and are scheduled during the day, and evenings.
Salary
$925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
