Part-time Lecturer- School of Nursing
Scope of Job
We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's student body as a Part-Time Faculty of the School of Nursing beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. The assignment is semester to semester basis.
The School of Nursing at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley occasionally has the need to hire non-tenure track Part-Time Lecturer(s) to teach in its Bachelor's and/or Master's programs. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction to students in the classroom, simulated laboratories, and clinical settings.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Texas prior to assuming the position.

Salary
Part-time Lecturers are paid per course taught commensurate with experience and/or qualifications. The appointment is semester to semester basis and contingent upon the enrollment and scheduling needs of the School of Nursing.
