Part-time Lecturers in the Department of Data Science [Ref. T/099/25]

Duties

To teach any of the postgraduate course(s) in Semester A (commencing early September) and/or Semester B (commencing mid-January).

Postgraduate courses include but not limited to the following:

• SDSC6012 – Time Series and Recurrent Neural Networks
• SDSC6016 – Predictive Analytics and Financial Applications
• SDSC8013 – Statistical Methods for Categorical Data Analysis

Duties may also include conducting tutorials, supervision of students in laboratory work, marking of assignments, setting and marking of examination papers and any other work as assigned by the Head of Department.

Teaching duties will be carried out during daytime, in the evening and weekend throughout the academic year.

Requirements

A PhD degree in related disciplines with proven teaching experience at the university level is required.
