Part-time Program Coordinator
Job Summary
The Leadership Institute is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to assist in support of training and development programs for external and internal stakeholders. The position involves assisting in planning events, coordinating workshops and team building activities, providing business administrative support, and managing client communication. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and comprehensive knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite applications, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, planning, and coordinating the implementation and execution of programs, special projects, events and other initiatives;
- Oversee and administer all facets and activities related to day-to-day operations, to include, but not limited to inventory management, submission of maintenance requests, training room set up, or deploying speaker agreements to consultants;
- Serves as liaison with internal and external clients and coordinates all matters related to program and/or department training activities;
- Assist in the administer, collection, compilation, and analysis of program data to prepare comprehensive program reports and evaluation summaries;
- Assist with coordination and monitor of social media presence and program outreach engagements to include, but not limited to vendor fairs and other client related events.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, or a field relevant to the specific industry (e.g., healthcare, logistics).
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or assistant role, demonstrating competence in project support or office logistics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with project management software.
- Organization/Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage schedules, vendors, and multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve conflicts, handle high-stress situations, and adapt to changes.
Proposed Salary
Salary $22/hr.
19 hours/week - up to 25 hours, depending on program needs.
