Part Time Research Support Specialist
Required Qualification (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Experience with research activities. Experience using research methods for data collation and interpretation. Experience conducting literature review related to environmental epidemiology. Experience developing a protocol for systematic reviews and metanalyses.
Preferred Qualification:
Master's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Public Health.
Brief Description of Duties:
Within defined test or analytical protocols, collate and interpret data using special methods in support of a research project or program for Dr. Mahdieh Danesh Yazdi in the Program in Public Health. This is a part-time temporary position. The successful incumbent will have excellent interpersonal skills, exercising strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Essential for this role is the adeptness to work independently as well as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem solving.
Duties:
- Perform literature search, staying current in the field by reading and discussing the literature and experimental results with the supervisor and/or PI.
- Collect data, record observations measurements and prepare reports for review of supervisor and or PI.
- Other duties or projects as assigned.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
