Another discipline/degree area may be considered. Thinkpad and Apple hardware certifications required within 12 months of the date of hire. Required Minimum Work Experience: Eighteen months hands-on computer repair work experience. Eighteen months' work experience in software installation, maintenance and trouble shooting, and reading and interpreting technical manuals. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Attributes Required for Satisfactory Performance of the Position Duties: Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications. Possess minimal programming skills. Possess active listening, critical thinking, complex problem solving, and time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication and comprehension skills. Ability to perform quality control analysis with strong attention to detail. Good customer service skills.
