"PEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGIST ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY TRAINEE"

University of Iowa Stead Family Department of Pediatrics seeks a Pediatric Cardiologist at the level of Instructor of Pediatrics (non-tenure) which may also be considered for up to a maximum of two years. The individual selected will join the Division of Pediatric Cardiology to provide patient care, teaching, and consultative services as a Pediatric Cardiologist and serve as a trainee in Pediatric Electrophysiology with 80% time spent training in imaging and 20% time spent supporting the general pediatric cardiology clinical programs.

The pediatrics department comprises the medical staff of University of Iowa Health Care Stead Family Children's Hospital, Iowa's only nationally ranked children's hospital and home to the state's only Level 4 NICU and Level 1 Regional Resource Pediatric Trauma Center. The ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program at Stead Family Children's Hospital trains 50 pediatric resident physicians.

For its 2024-25 edition of "Best Children's Hospitals," U.S. News & World Report ranked Stead Family Children's Hospital in nine pediatric specialties: Behavioral Health, Cancer, Cardiology, Heart, and Vascular Surgery, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Neonatology, Nephrology, Neurology and Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Urology.
