Per-Diem Senior Clinical Instructor

Job Summary

The Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology has an opening for a part-time, per diem (hourly) at the faculty rank of Senior Clinical Instructor. The chief responsibility of the department is to assure the best possible outcomes for our patients having surgical operations, painful invasive procedures, and childbirth.

Key Responsibilities

The attending anesthesiologist administers care alone or supervises physicians-in-training (residents), certified registered nurse anesthetists, certified anesthesiologist assistants, or physician extenders. The candidate may be required to perform these services in the operating room, in the labor and delivery area, in radiology, and in some special procedure areas. As faculty members of the School of Medicine, candidates are also expected to contribute to the teaching needs of the Department and the School. This position is per diem (hourly, part-time) and will be able to pick up vacant or available shifts at the Children's Hospital Colorado system.
