Pharmacy Resident - PGY2
The postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency program in pharmacy practice is a structured, one-year educational and training experience that fosters the development of advanced knowledge and skills in the delivery of patient-centered care in the area of pharmacy.
The residency consists of core and elective rotations in clinical practice as well as longitudinal experiences. The fundamental goal of the residency is to advance the education and training of pharmacists as members of a multidisciplinary health care team.
- Complete core and elective rotations at the clinical practice site and participate in longitudinal activities that support the goals of the training program.
- Gain teaching experience within a variety of settings in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS University, Boston.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Required:
- A Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a college or university
- Completion of a postgraduate year one Pharmacy Practice residency
- Licensure as a pharmacist in MA
