Job Description

• Provide urgent medical care and treatment to students
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and minor procedures
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, EKGs, and radiological procedures
• Establish orthopedic treatment and rehabilitation plans in collaboration with athletic trainers
• Refer students to medical and surgical specialists when indicated
• Provide oversight and consultation with Physician Assistant, Advance Practice Nurse Practitioners, Athletic Trainers, and other medical care providers
• Serve as back-up physician for NCAA Division II intercollegiate teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certification in primary care area (Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, Internal Medicine)
• License to practice medicine in the State of Missouri

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of clinical experience post-residency
• Experience in Sports Medicine

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $125 to $150 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
